GET IT!!!

The Factory Service (or Repair) Manual (FSM) is well worth the investment, it may come in one or more volumes (early years tend to be single, later years are multi-volume) You'll likely recover the manual investment on the first problem diagnosis or repair you do using it.

Any public library in your area would have the Factory service manual, as well as the Haynes, Chilton, Mitchell and Toyota repair books.

There are also numerous copies available on-line, with links posted on many of the Toyota 4WD forums. You can also use your faviroite search engine to look for copies as well. I won't put those links up on this page as they often move around and I don't want to make it easier for the IP police to locate and remove those on-line copies. I, myself, purchased a used hard copy of the FSM and have a scanned copy (in PDF form) that I carry on my laptop on long trips and for quick reference checks.
