As a result, with the 43mm center on the 10-sp. cassette, the small ring lines up about even with the 4th cog, so the small-large combo is not far off. That low gear is really nice for spinning up the steep hills, gives me a 15.2" gear with a top end of 109". Not quite road gearing with the 11-13-15-17-19-21-24-28-32-36 tooth cogs, but it does the job on those long pavement rides to and from the hills.   (5/16)
