Here is a shot after finishing 5 miles of fire road and single track trails in the local Montebello Open Space Preserve on 1/1/2012. Ironic that this is the exact area where "The Land" commune was located in the late 60's and early '70s where Joan Baez used to hang out and where Stewart Brand used to print the Whole Earth Catalog from a garage off of one of the commune dwellings. I recall reading the WHole Earth catalogs as a kid in Washington state about the time I purchased this bike, so it is a small world indeed!   (7/11)
