Introduction:
Note that the model years are based upon US model vehicles. These vehicles have torsion bar front suspensions and recirculating ball steering boxes.
The body lift kits consist of the following items:

Body lift blocks:
-
Ultimate blocks in UHMW polyethylene:
- 2 - 2" OD and 4 - 2.5" OD blocks for the cab
- 8 - 2" OD blocks for the bed
- Natural color is white, may be custom colored in black with the CLR option
- Also available in cab-only and standard size (all 2" OD) blocks.
- For lifts between the heights listed below, use the next higher kit price, e.g. for a 1.5" lift, use the 2" pricing

Ultimate blocks in UHMW polyethylene:
- 1.5" or 2" denotes the option of 1.5" or 2" lift, one or the other, it's not adjustable in height

Hardware is available in several options.
- Standard grade (Grade 5) hardware is included in kits D, includes longer bolts for each body mount location
- Hardware may be upgraded to Heavy Duty (Grade 8) by ordering the HD option
- For hardware-only orders, use the 0"-kit D pricing and specify the lift height in the order description.

Front Bumper brackets to raise the stock front bumper to match the lift
- On '83 and earlier 4WD and '88 and earlier 2WD pickups, inquire about front bumper brackets
- On '84/'85 models, front bumper brackets only available in 1 inch increments (i.e. 1", 2", 3")
- Radiator drop brackets to lower the radiator to align with the stock radiator fan

Bed Spacers can be used to support the center of the cargo bed over the
rear wheels, if needed
- Note, the pickups have 2 locations that the bed rests on the frame, one vertical and one on the angled section of the frame.
- It makes most sense to only use one pair of bed spacers at the vertical location.

Shift lever extensions that screw onto the shift lever to extend it
2" or 3" to match the lift
- Shift Lever (SL) extensions for transmission and transfer case shifter with screw-on knobs, only.

Automatic transmission/transfer case bracket extensions for externally
shifted transfer cases
- Generally required at 2" and above, available in 2" and 3" versions.
- At 1.5" lift, measure the clearance between the shift linkage and the transfer case and decide if you'll need a 2" bracket or not.
- Polyurethane body mount bushings replace the stock rubber bushings, if needed.

Lift heights up to:
- 3" on 1979 - 1995 4WD, manual and automatic transmissions included
- 2" on 2WD with manual transmission
- Up to 1" on 2WD with automatic transmission
- There may also be some issues with 2WD pickups with power steering over 1".

In the pricing tables below, the "Typical
Kits" for each given lift height and vehicle is listed,
both in an itemized list at the bottom of each lift height and
as bold text in the table columns.
- The "Typical Kit" contains those parts typically needed to lift a typical vehicle that height, thus the name "Typical Kit".

A typical vehicle is one that is somewhat close to stock, that is has
the stock engine, stock steering, stock bumpers, etc.
- 0" typical kit would also be called a "body lift removal kit"
-
Note, things like suspension lifts, larger than stock tires, etc. have
little or no impact on a body lift.
- After all, all those things do is to raise the frame higher off the ground. A body lift in turn simply raises the body off the frame. So in a sense the body lift could care less what sort of suspension or tires are sitting below the frame.

Feel free to add or subtract from the typical kit as your needs
dictate;
- For example if you have a custom front bumper, subtract the Front Bumper (FB) brackets from your kit and adjust the price accordingly.
- Or if you wish to upgrade to the Heavy Duty hardware, add the HD option to your kit and adjust the price accordingly.

Add the AT bracket item (ATbrkt) for 2" and
3" lifts on vehicles with 4WD automatic transmissions where that
option is listed.
- Generally required at 2" and above, available in 2" and 3" versions

Add the AT linkage extension item (AText) is
typically needed at 3" lift, it can be installed at a 2" lift
but typically not needed.
- At 1.5" lift, measure the clearance between the shift linkage and the transfer case and decide if you'll need a 2" bracket or not.

grouping below are where there were significant changes in the vehicle
design that affects the body lift components to the point where a
different kit is needed. Within a given date/model range, all body lift

Polyurethane bushings and isolators
- Pc is a set of 6 polyurethane cab mount bushings to replace the OEM rubber bushings
- Pb is a set ot 6 or 8 Polyurethane Bed Isolation Washers to replace the OEM rubber isolator pieces that have usually cracked and fallen out
- For 1" lifts with the aluminum (AL) lift block option, you can add the isolator washers between the bed lift blocks and bed if you wish.

Aside from use on flat bed conversions, a 2" cab-only body lift works well for a 4WD Chinook conversion to get the cab lined up with the camper portion.

Polyurethane bushings and isolators
- Pc is a set of 6 polyurethane cab mount bushings to replace the OEM rubber bushings

- There seem to be two different setups for the the cab mount bolts on the T100 models. All have a longer pair of bolts up front under the radiator. Under the main part of the cab, there are either 2 pair of the same length bolts or there will be 1 pair of bolts about 1" / 25mm longer than the other pair. If you can check and let us know which lengths you have, we'll make sure to send the right mix of lengths. If you can't or don't want to check ahead of time, add the EH kit item and we'll send an extra pair of bolts to cover either setup. You'll end up with 1 pair of extra bolts. In short, you'll either have Long-Medium-Short or Long-Short-Short bolts on the cab.
- For the 1" kits (only) if you want to save $15.00, let us know and we can supply just the 2 longest cab bolts and then you can re-use original cab bolts by moving them back one position. In all, you'll have 2 new bolts up front and 4 original bolts under the main part of the cab. This only applies to models with the 3 different length cab bolts.
